A wedding with diversity  cultural!

From last Wednesday, November 28 to  On Sunday, December 2, singer Nick Jonas and actress Priyanka Chopra celebrated their marriage in two ceremonies that integrated the actress's Hindu culture with the singer's Christianity.

The Christian ceremony was held on Saturday at the Umaid Bhawan Palace Hotel, and the officiant was the groom's father. The exchange of vows was also attended by Nick's mother and brothers: Kevin, Joe and Frankie with their respective partners, the bride's mother and cousin, Parineeti Chopra, a popular singer in her country.

The bride's dress for this ceremony was a Ralph Lauren design, hand-embroidered with sequins and Swarovski crystals. In addition, the bride requested that special phrases be embroidered on the dress, such as:  “Nicholas Jerry Jonas, December 1, 2018, Madhu and Ashok, Om Namah Shivay, family, hope, compassion and love”, to complement the  veil was made of tulle and was over 22 meters long. The groom, for his part, opted for a black design from the same brand and with a small embroidery with the same fabric as Priyanka's dress that said "my  jaan" (my life).   

On Sunday, the celebration of the Hindu marriage was held, where the actress wore a traditional red dress, created by  Sabyasachi Mukherjee , and Nick a traditional suit also made by the same designer.  During the  For the first three days, the bride and groom enjoyed a traditional ritual known as "puja" in which the bride and groom bowed to a Hindu god, followed the next day by a Mehndi ceremony, in which the bride painted her hands and feet with henna. while the families disputed a song and dance competition. And finally, on Friday, they celebrated the Sangeet , in which the attendees sing, dance and play jokes on the future in-laws.

On the fifth day, the couple held an incredible reception for family and close friends at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. The bride and her most special guest, her sister-in-law, 'Game of Thrones' actress Sophie Turner, dazzled with their typical Indian dresses.
